Very clean place with a very Vegan/vegetarian menu. The set up was a little strange, you order outside at a window then go into a small room and food is brought out to you. The staff is very friendly and there is a large variety of items. Everything was tasty and well seasoned. Perfect for anyone who is looking for a vegan option.

The solution to my roadtrip nightmares! Absolutely delicious and perfect burger and chicken sandwich and crinkle cut fries. On our way back from Yosemite, we were starving and desperate, the kind of desperate that makes you think about going through a mainstream fast food chain drive through just to get fries and a drink. Nevermore!!! This place has an extensive menu and an adorable little front patio with outdoor seating, which I would have relaxed in had a more time. We use the app to order ahead and set the pickup time, and then I realized I was going to be there 45 minutes sooner than I set the time for. Call to correct and she said the food was already ready, which was fine in this circumstance but could potentially lead to some sad and floppy fries. Be mindful when ordering, probably best to phone in your order rather than schedule it ahead on the app. No worries, I will definitely be back. Support this Mom and Pop vegan Paradise!

With the Central Valley being scarce on good healthy (vegan) options , TNK is a welcomed choice. Located on Needham St. in Modesto, CA., you'll find a cute little bistro with great food, indoor & outdoor seating available. It's family run, so you can feel good about supporting your local small business. Everything is great, but I'm all in for the Mongolian Beef dish! Meatless of course. Hope you find your way to TNK !!

LOVE this place. Can't say enough good things about this sweet and amazing cafe. Great variety of vegan food! They make the best avocado smoothie I've had! Kind and warm welcoming staff as always.

Best vegan food in town. Highly recommend the Mongolian beef , lemongrass chicken, happy chow mein, and spring rolls. This place should keep its political comments to itself and out of reviews or some of us will stop supporting this business.

Soon after my June 20, 2024 4-star review, the restaurant messaged these things that lead me to improve the rating to 5-star: "our utensils we are using premium Eco table wares All disposable cornstarch biodegradable tableware we never using regular plastic and also our Togo bags we are using Thank you earth BIO -ENSO bags" Here is what my original previous review said: " Today is my second day eating here. The food is yummy, portions are decent. Price is slightly high price, like most any restaurant or café meals these days. Outdoor seating only, which is right by a pretty busy street, which might be a little noisy for some people. However, about 100 yards away is a nice park that looks like it would be nice to take the food over to and relaxing. I wish there was a way to see what the various artificial meat items on the menu are made of. I recommend the place :)"

Had a VERY yummy dinner at TNK Vegan Cafe over the weekend before heading to the State Theatre. Everything here is vegan which is a relief when ordering. There were a lot of choices on the menu that all sounded wonderful which made it hard to decide. I opted for the Mongolian "Beef" and my partner got the Impossible Burger. They were great! I already want more. Ordering was done through a kiosk, but we wanted a few different options. Thankfully, you can also order through the window. The staff inside was friendly and helpful. They have a lovely little outside patio for dining and no inside options.

I've become a regular. I eat here about once a week. I would come more often if it was closer to home. If you asked me to name some negatives about TNK, it might be that the menu is small, and it would be nice if there were some other things to choose from. How about a tofu banh mi?! The only other negative is the reliance on plastic and paper takeout. The cafe is a small, two person operation. There simply is not room or staff available to wash dishes. I just wish I wasn't putting my containers in the landfill after every delicious meal. Still my favorite place in Modesto. Good karma at TNK!
